Project/Program: Central Administration.
Reports to: Site Coordinator, Wicomico County Office of Energy Assistance.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for effective and successful receipt and accuracy of Home Energy Applications at our facilities.
- The Receptionist/Intake Worker shall assist the Site Coordinator in the accomplishment of the goals of the department.
- Answers Home Energy Inquiries and routes Calls to Specific Personnel.
- Provide clients with new applications and receive completed customer applications for screening.
- Maintain the details in the Lobby Guard System.
- Greet Visitors warmly and make sure they are comfortable in person and on the phone.
- Refer Clients to OHEP Website or OHEP Phone number for status check if necessary.
- Assist with other clerical-related duties as needed.
Education and Experience:
- The ideal candidate must be a High School graduate plus at least two years full time related work experience.
- Must have extensive computer skills with proficiency in Micro-Soft Word and Excel.
Desired Qualifications:
- Ability to be able to travel locally to attend meetings, workshops, and conferences.
- Knowledge and experience with the MD Office of Home Energy Assistance Program.
- Ability to organize workflow and operate all office machines.
- Ability to work with clients and staff from varying backgrounds, education and economic levels.
Duties:
- Maintain confidential records.
- Participates with staff and management to alleviate excess workloads as needed.
- Assist with other clerical related duties as needed.
- Coordinate mail flow in and out of office.
- Attend meetings and training as required.
- Assist County Coord/Site Manager in the accomplishment of the Goals of OHEP.
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as outlined by the supervisor.
- Maintain inventory of equipment and other materials and supplies.
- Forward Drop Offs to Mailroom.
